St. Patrick’s Day 2018

St. Patrick’s Day in Denver can be so much fun if you know where to go and what to do. Here is your guide to St. Patrick’s Day in Denver!

Most importantly to mention is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade will take place in Downtown Denver on St. Patrick’s Day. The parade starts at 9:30 a.m., but some people arrive as early as 6 a.m. to stake out a spot. You will want to head over to the South side of 20th Avenue on Blake Street for the best views. This parade is known as the biggest St. Patrick’s Day Parade west of the Mississippi River, and one of the best events in Denver. The parade will include horses, marching bands, floats, dancers, and Irish-themed fun for everyone! For more information on the parade you can visit the website here.

Third on the list is Keggs and Eggs! This is a super fun annual live music event held for die-hard music fans every year. The event kicks off at 7 a.m. at Blake Street Tavern with green beer, whiskey and rock performances. The lineup for 2018 includes Portugal. The Man, AJR, and SteLouse. The best part about this one? It is free and is open to only ages 21 and up! This year Blake Street Tavern is only allowing clear bags into the venue with a maximum wallet size of 5″ x 8″. They also want you to keep in mind there is only one ATM and is it INSIDE Blake Street Tavern! Be sure to pack cash for Breakfast Burritos and Coors Light! Enter code EGGS20 on your Lyft app for 20% off your #Keggs13 ride!

Irish Pubs:

In addition to all of the exciting events coming up, there are so many Irish themed pubs you can check out as well. Fado, Tilted Kilt, Scruffy Murphy’s, The Irish Rover, Pints Pub, and My Brother’s Bar are all located in Denver. Most of these bars will be hosting some kind of celebration or event. When you visit these bars be sure to ask about the St. Patrick’s Day specials!

Don’t forget to throw on some green so you don’t get pinched!
