Colorful Scenic Views

Fall is upon us and that means it’s time to start thinking about colorful scenic views. Of course you can go to any of the nearby parks to see the leaves change colors and feel the crisp cool air. City Park, Cheesman Park, Wash Park, and Benedict Fountain Park (right across the street from Alexan Uptown), are our favorites for visiting at anytime of the year. While these are great options, driving a little outside of the city will give you fantastic views as well.

Guanella Pass is a favorite for an impressive introduction to the Rocky Mountains. It is only 1 hour away from Denver and reaches 11,670 feet. Once you reach the town of Grant, you turn right on US 285 and take the highway for 15 minutes to the top of Kenosha Pass. Kenosha Pass is known to be busy, but with good reason. There are miles and miles of Aspen trees that make for amazing photos. Rocky Mountain National Park is another great option for fall colors. They have a visitor center too that can help you decide which paths and roads will be best for you depending on the conditions for each individual day.

Denver and the surrounding areas undoubtedly have beautiful colors and views. Let us know where your favorite places to see fall colors are!
